The inductive motor control position sensor family detects the electrical position within one pole-pair of a rotating shaft and can be used for the motor commutation of a brush-less DC (BLDC) motor. Based on the inductive sensor technology, this family measures the coupling between an excitation coil (TX) and two receiver coils (RX) via a rotating target. The coils are executed as printed circuit coils and the rotating target is a simple punched metal part. With the correct layout of the coils and the target, both synchronized to the number of pole-pair count of the motor, the IC output is proportional to the electrical angular position within one pole-pair segment with increased resolution and high performance of only 0.3° electrical INL!

The Innovative Technical Systems ITS-9050 Detector is a sensitive, harmonic mixing detector designed to measure millimeter-wave free-space radiation. It is ideal for measuring radiation patterns of antennas inboth the near and far-field. The ITS-9050 employs a free-running dielectric resonator oscillator (DRO) and an integrated harmonic mixer with a waveguide RF input that either connects directly to a circuit under test or to an antenna for radiation detection. The resulting IF is amplified and detected by an IF log-detector that drives a front panel LCD voltmeter to provide an indication of signal strength. A DC output voltage from the log detector is available on a BNC connector to drive external data acquisition instrumentation. Also, a sample of the IF output is provided for measurement on a spectrum analyzer.

The XR-100CR is a new high performance x-ray detector, preamplifier, and cooler system using a thermoelectrically cooled Si-PIN photodiode as an xray detector. Also mounted on the 2-stage cooler are the input FET and a novel feedback circuit. These components are kept at approximately -55 °C, and are monitored by an internal temperature sensor. The hermetic TO-8 package of the detector has a light tight, vacuum tight thin Beryllium window to enable soft xray detection. The XR-100T-CdTe represents a breakthrough in xray detector technology by providing “off-the-shelf” performance previously available only from expensive cryogenically cooled systems. The XR-100-CdTe is also suited for measuring gamma rays.

Dielectric resonator oscillators (DRO) are free running oscillators that utilize state-of-the-art planar circuits, three-terminal devices and dielectric resonator technology to generate high-quality microwave signals with excellent frequency stability. In addition, these oscillators are equipped with an internal voltage regulator that further improves the frequency stability by isolating the external bias pushing and modulation. In general, these oscillators are fixed. However, a small mechanical or electrical tuning range can be achieved by use of a self-locking screw or an integrated Varactor diode. To ensure the safety of operator it is essential that the Earth path (connection) should offer minimum impedance to by pass short circuit Current to Earth. This is ensured by measuring Resistance of the Earth path by passing heavy Current say 25 A. The Earth Contact Resistance Tester essentially comprises of a Variable Current source with digital Ammeter to measure the Current supplied. The Voltage drop across the Earth path is measured with a digital Voltmeter. Optionally for a particular Current (25 A) the meter can be calibrated in terms of Resistance. A timer is provided to switch off the Current after the Set Time.
